I would like to nominate senior active, Jayme Wellman for this month's Girl with the Arrow. I had the pleasure of meeting Jayme during her freshman year. She came off to me as such a sweet, quiet and innocent girl...boy, was I wrong! j/k Jayme - love you! She wasn't quite sure if pledging Kianu and becoming a stereotype 'sorority girl' was for her. I strongly encouraged her to at least go through the Rush process and meet all of the girls. My heart soared when I found out that she made the decision to pledge.

For those of you who Jayme, she is quite a remarkable young woman. Her love for the club, her friends, family and God are only a few of her outstanding qualities. She is such a wonderful friend. She is the type of girl who will be there for you in a heartbeat and always has the right words to make you feel better. Jayme is such a positive person. I only wish I had the strength in me to think such good thoughts everyday. She holds her friends dear to her heart and is loved by many.
We always tell one another that in a sense, we are sisters separated at birth. After leaving the club and college, I feel as if she has followed in my footsteps…she took on social chair for the club, was elected Business Club secretary and took over my job at the tanning salon. As Jayme graduates this spring, I know the future holds many great opportunities for her. I wish her nothing but the best of luck.
